Black Beetle Health Resources
Black Beetle Health's founder and CEO, Harvey Kennedy-Pitt, shares a goodbye message.

It is with a deep sense of pride and optimism for the future that I announce my departure from my role as CEO of Black Beetle Health, after what has certainly been one of the most remarkable milestones of my personal and professional life to date.
In June 2019, I embarked on a journey to share crucial health information derived from my doctoral research, specifically focusing on optimising sexual health services for LGBTQ+ People of Colour in the UK. What started as an Instagram page in my kitchen evolved into the thriving entity now known as Black Beetle Health—a community-driven public health organisation and registered charity.
I am immensely proud of the milestones we have achieved together during my tenure. Black Beetle Health has grown into an expert, lived experience-led organisation, dedicated to addressing health disparities and providing support, empowerment, and education to the global majority LGBTQ+ community and those designing services for us.
My utmost hope is that Black Beetle Health continues to stand firm in its mission. I am confident in the team's ability to carry forward the commitment to health equity and social justice for marginalised individuals. This decision is not a departure from that commitment but rather an opportunity for the organisation to reach its full potential under new leadership.
I extend my gratitude to the entire Black Beetle Health community for the unwavering support and collaborative spirit that have defined our journey together. I am excited about the organisation's future endeavours and will remain dedicated to the broader cause of health equity and social justice.
Thank you for the incredible opportunity to lead this exceptional organisation.
In your service, wishing you the very best of health, always,
Harvey Kennedy-Pitt
