In this mini-webinar, we brought together sexual health and wellbeing practitioners, academics, educators, activist and advocates to discuss the ins and outs of "Queer Sex & Pleasure". We did so to create a much needed conversational discourse around queer sex, yes, but more importantly PLEASURE.
Are we making pleasure a natural part of the sexual health and wellbeing narrative? Are we ashamed to say, "Well, yes,...Sex is enjoyable!"? Are we cultivating a culture of openness and honesty when it comes to sex and pleasure in all aspects of the queer community? How does this shame factor affect health outcomes for LGBTQ+ People of Colour? Let's discuss.
